How to make up time for any missed sessions
In order to pass the Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Scholars programme, participants need to meet the minimum time requirement, by attending a minimum number of sessions, events, and activities.
We understand that, for a variety of reasons, Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Scholars participants may not be able to attend all of the subject activity sessions on offer to them during the programme. For this reason, participants are able to make up the time missed by attending additional events, sessions, and activites run by the Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Scholars team and the Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø more widely.

Instructions for how to make up time
To make up the time for one Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Scholars subject activity session, you can attend either:
- ONE half- or full-day event, as specified in the drop-down list below, or
- TWO short or virtual events, as specified in the drop-down list below
To make up the time for two or more Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Scholars subject activity sessions, you can attend a combination of events to reach the correct total.
If you're unsure how much time you need to make up, please contact the Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Scholars team to check this at any time.
Once you have completed any event, please contact the Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Scholars team to confirm that you've attended an event. We will then verify your attendance and add it to your Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Scholars record.
Attend ONE in-person event
Booking is required for all events
- An in-person campus tour of any Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø campus
- An in-person Open Day on any Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø campus
Attend TWO virtual events
Booking is required for all events (attending 1 session equates to 0.5 credits, 2 sessions equate to 1 credit, etc.).
- A live online session
- A live online session
- A Discover University live online session
Let us know you've attended
Once you have completed any event, please contact the Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Scholars team to confirm that you've attended an event. We will then verify your attendance and add it to your Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Scholars record.
If you don't let us know, we won't know you've attended!
